PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need to repeatedly perform operation for making the logical structure of a document correspond to display setting information and operation for displaying and confirming a structured document when the style sheet of the structured document such as SGML is generated. SOLUTION: A structured document generating means 6 for display information description generates a structure document 7 for display information description wherein information is described so as to display the document on a screen, a display and logical structure correspondence means 8 makes the logical structure information of the document correspond to the structured document 7 for display information description to generate display and logical structure correspondence information 9, and a structure document generating means 10 can generate the structured document 11 for logical structure description and style sheet 12 from the structured document 7 for display information description and display and logical structure correspondence information 9. |
