The apparatus has a rectangular plate (1) of rigid metal with the ends having two points (2) to be inserted into holes (13) formed in the internal cortical of the first metatarsal (10), and with the zones situated between the ends and the median zone of the plate have two holes (3) to receive two bone screws (4). The screws are inserted in the holes (14) formed in the internal and external cortical of the first metatarsal. At least one piercing drill (5) has four holes (7a,b) with positions corresponding to those of the points and the holes of the plate. A series of wedges (8) have different thicknesses corresponding to the different possible degrees of correction.
