The use of a false ceiling and optical fibber lights allows changing controlled lighting conditions within the room. The internal decoration for changing the ambiance of a room includes a false ceiling (1) which is arched. The ends (2) of a number of optical fibbers (3) terminate within the false ceiling panel in order to provide a number of small sources of light scattered over the ceiling. One wall of the room is formed by an un-silvered sheet of glass (5) behind which is decorative scene (6,7) illuminated by one or more spotlights (8). The scene may be formed in relief in order to benefit from the illumination from a number of spotlights mounted above and below the glass viewing window. A dispersed light source (9) may be mounted beneath the false ceiling in order to provide general illumination within the room. The optical fibber light sources may be controlled by a computer program to provide changing intensity. |
