<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure-contact connector capable of protecting a tab part of a male side terminal fitting in a connector housing in the dividing condition. SOLUTION: A pressure-contact connector is formed of two members of an upper and a lower connector housings 2, 3, and each connector housing 2, 3 is provided with terminal housing part 7, 32 for housing a male side pressure-contact terminal. A front part of each connector housing 2, 3 is provided with hood parts 5, 6. In the condition that the connector housings 2, 3 are divided, a tab part of the male side terminal fitting is protected by the hood parts 5, 6 in three direction thereof. With this structure, in the case where a foreign material comes close to the tab part, contact of the foreign material with the tab part is avoided by the hood parts 5, 6.</p> |
