The invention concerns a golf training set consisting of a club whereof the head (27) is provided with a roller (28) and a device for analysing the quality of the club stroke. Said device essentially comprises a cylinder (1) mounted rotating about a horizontal axis on elastically mounted bearings. The cylinder surface has a marker, such as a propeller for displaying its rotation and said rotation direction. The cylinder is driven in rotation by the club roller if the trajectory thereof is incorrect or if the head surface is oblique relative to the trajectory.
