PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium ion secondary battery excellent in the cycle characteristic. SOLUTION: This battery is composed by tightly sealing, with an armoring sheet, a power generation element composed by infiltrating a nonaqueous electrolytic solution into a negative electrode formed from a carbon material and a positive electrode formed from a lithium transition metal composite oxide. In this case, gas generated inside the battery can be adsorbed by providing a porous substance having minute holes each having of 3-200 μm of minute hole diameter as an adsorbent between the power generation element and the exterior sheet, thus preventing degradation of the adhesion of the sheet and providing an excellent cycle characteristic of the battery. |
