PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which can form images of good quality without being affected by environmental changes, etc., by imparting supply biases which match a difference in image density. SOLUTION: A development means having a potential difference provided between a developing roller 110 and a supply roller 120 is provided with a supply bias means 300 which can vary and adjust the potential difference and a density measurement means 400 for measuring the densities of image patterns on an image carrying body 200 which are caused by different developing biases on at least two points, and a supply bias application means 600 can be controlled to effect changes according to the gradient of image density relative to the developing biases. |
