PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clearly inform a timepiece user of difference in warning contents by providing a second voltage detection circuit, and by measuring a power supply voltage for judging whether measurement action can be made or not. SOLUTION: A power supply voltage detection circuit B6 of an electronic timepiece being designed to measure and display the value of the depth of water outputs a voltage level report signal S2 when a power supply voltage becomes lower than a second detection voltage V2 . By the report signal S2 , a voltage level report circuit B7 warns and displays that the depth of water cannot be measured at a depth-of-water measurement disable voltage report part 11 due to a liquid crystal display. At this time, when a power supply voltage detection circuit A4 does not detect a first detection voltage Vd1 according to the relationship between the Vd1 and Vd2 , namely Vd1 <Vd2 , a clock user can confirm that a normal time measurement function can be used. Furthermore, when a battery voltage is decreased, the power supply voltage detection circuit A4 detects the first detection voltage Vd1 and outputs a voltage level report signal S1 . According to the signal S1 , a voltage level report circuit A5 warns and displays to the timepiece user that normal time cannot be measured at a voltage level attention part 12. |
