PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio transmission system where a receiver of a mobile terminal is able to receive an information signal, even when the receiver does not know the channel information of the service broadcast. SOLUTION: Mobile terminals 51a-51c, 52a-52d, 53a-53e are PHS terminals, each having a function of a service broadcast reception mode. When a receiver switches on the service broadcast reception mode, the terminal of the receiver seeks a service broadcast channel information in a control channel sent from base stations 31-33, and receives the channel information when the information is available and displays a menu of a service broadcast conducted in communication areas 41-43 on a display device provided to the mobile terminal without the use of a channel, which is different from a usual speech or informs the receiver of it in voice. The receiver selects a service broadcast desired to be received from this menu and depresses its channel number to start the reception of the service broadcast. |
