<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active matrix substrate capable of reducing wiring resistance, obtaining sure electric contact between each pixel electrode and wiring and allowed to be manufactured by simple manufacturing processes. SOLUTION: The active matrix substrate 20 is provided with a substrate 22, a signal line 56 wired on the substrate 22 in a prescribed pattern, MIM elements 26 connected to the signal line 56, and pixel electrodes 48 consisting of transparent electrode films connected to respective MIM elements 26 through connection areas 40. In the substrate 20, each connection area 40 is provided with an intermediate film 42 superposed to the surface of the pixel electrode 48 and a wiring film 44 superposed to the surface of the film 42 and connected to the MIM element 26.</p> |
