PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image blurring correction camera that restrictions on the design of a lens and a lens barrel are reduced, and an image blurring correcting method for the camera. SOLUTION: This camera having a camera main body and a photographing lens for forming an image on a focal plane in the camera main body is provided with a pair of movable mirrors 14 and 15 on an optical path in the camera main body 13, and is equipped with a sensor for detecting the magnitude and the direction of shake given to the camera 10, and a pair of mirror driving mechanisms driving a pair of movable mirrors so that an image position on the focal plane may be moved in the up-and-down direction and the right-and-left direction of the image in accordance with the magnitude and the direction of the shake detected by the sensor. Either image blurring in the up-and-down direction or image blurring in the right-and-left direction on the focal plane caused by the shake given to the camera 10 is corrected by driving the 1st movable mirror 14 installed on the optical path in the camera main body and the other is corrected by driving the 2nd movable mirror 15 installed differently from the 1st movable mirror 14 in terms of position on the optical path in the camera main body. |
