PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply device that does not consume wasteful power, such as excitation current on standby, while using a compact and inexpensive switch. SOLUTION: A power supply device for supplying power from a commercial AC power supply via transformer 4 is provided with a relay switch 2, that is provided between a commercial AC power supply and a primary coil L1 of the transformer 4, an AC/DC converter 10 that is connected to the commercial AC power supply and performs a low-voltage conversion from AC to DC, a transistor Q1 that is inserted in a current path for supplying the output of the AC/DC converter 10 to a relay coil 3 of the relay switch 2, and a tact switch 15 that is connected to the output terminal of the AC/DC converter 10 and to the base of the transistor Q1. |
