PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate adjustment and fixture of a circuit, when a device is mounted on an NRD guide by providing sections in which plural conductors are arranged side by side along the propagating direction in an area sandwiched between surfaces which face opposite each other. SOLUTION: An electric field component in profile near the center of upper and lower conductive plates is largest in an LSM mode in the NRD guide. Therefore, an electromagnetic field (the LSM mode) which propagates on the NRD guide is propagated along tapered parts of electrodes 2a, 2b on a dielectric substrate 101, on which plural conductors 2a, 2b are arranged side by side and electromagnetic field energy is concentrated as quasi-TE mode between the electrodes. Electromagnetic wave in the quasi-TE mode on the dielectric substrate 101 is further propagated on the tapered parts of the electrodes 2a, 2b and enters the NRD guide again. The electromagnetic wave on the dielectric substrate 101 is the quasi-TE mode between the conductors, which are approximated and arranged side by side and electric fields are concentrated between the electrodes. For this reason, an active circuit like an amplifier, etc., is constituted by connecting a semiconductor element like a transistor, etc., between the conductors. |
