PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resistor which can be thinned and which, when used as a heater, has a good efficiency of conducting heat to the subject of heating, such as a water pipe. SOLUTION: A resistance wire 13 is wound around a core 11 made of a heat resistant material, and metallic terminals 15, 15 are attached to both ends thereof. They are then entirely formed into a shape curved to suit the outer form of the subject of heating such as a water pipe to which a heater 10 is attached, so as to form the heater (resistor) 10. The circumference of the heater 10 is covered with a heat resistant insulating sheet 35 to form an antifreeze heater (resistor) 30. |
