PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic dispenser and a dispensing method, capable of preventing dispersion of a dispensing amount to improve dispensing accuracy. SOLUTION: In a dispensing method carrying out dispensing by sucking and discharging a liquid sample from a tip end of a dispensing chip installed on the bottom part of a nozzle, an oscillator 13 installed on a dispensing head 3 is driven at the time of dispensing operation to make a droplet adhered to the tip end of the dispensing chip 5 oscillate relative to a dispensing chip 5. At this time, the oscillation frequency is made to change within a prescribed range by a frequency sweep part 15. Thereby, when the liquid property and the adhesion state vary, the oscillation can surely drop the droplet adhered to the tip end part of the dispensation chip 5 from the dispensing chip 5 so as to prevent the dispersion of dispensing amount to improve dispensing accuracy. |
