Washbasin installation has at least one basic and with the housing of the washbasin having closable chambers with in the area of the basin for additional apparatus for body care such as for the care of the teeth and for mouth rinsing together with their connecting elements which have a permanent connection with the corresponding connecting sections of the wash basin installation. The basin housing has coverings to close off the chambers which correspond to its external shape. The additional apparatus together with its parts and connecting elements form together with the boxes containing them exchangeable insert units for the installation.
