<p>The invention relates to an electronic overcurrent tripping device which is provided for a circuit breaker and which can be used in heavy current electrotechnics. The use of fewer tripping device types in circuit breakers having an electronic overcurrent tripping device and rated current plug connectors which can be plugged in leads to difficulties in the labeling of the tripping device. The overcurrent tripping device can be structured in an essentially user-friendly manner if the regulating element (2) for the operate value of the overcurrent tripping device is arranged on the rated current plug connector (1).
