The timer switch has a main body (1) with a circular shaft and a setting shaft (2) for selecting a required time range from a number of time ranges, the selected range indicated by printed time characters, visible through openings in a frame plate (4), with a selection disc for setting a limited time for each time range. The printed time character plate (3) has adjacent 0 printed characters positioned so that only one is visible for each time range.
