The method involves storing a call number when a desired communication connection is accepted by a terminal. The call number is automatically stored in a dial storage, in a communication state. When the communication connection is terminated, by a procedure using the subscriber terminal, the stored call number is roll out as dial information for setting-up the connection to the originating terminal. Preferably, the storage of the call number, of the originating terminal, is carried out with the switching of the connection.
