The invention concerns a backbone osteosynthesis system, in particular for anterior fixing, comprising: an elongated linking element (2); a vertebral screw (8) with a threaded head (32); a connector (6) comprising two branches (16) capable of being engaged onto the screw (8) and clamping between them the linking element (2); and a threaded clamping member (10) capable of co-operating with the head (32) for clamping the branches (16). The head (32) has a threaded orifice (39), the clamping member (10) comprising a threaded rod (42) capable of being urged to be engaged in the orifice (39).
