PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To receive an infrared signal from a remote controller over a wide range while enhancing assembling workability and design by making thin a part of a front panel, making convex the rear surface at the light receiving part of a filter and making coarse the rear surface. SOLUTION: The light receiving part 3 of an air conditioner 1 is formed by making thin a part of a front panel 2 and a light receiving sensor 5 is arranged on the rear side. The light receiving part 3 is made indivisible from the surface side in view point of design. The light receiving part 3 has convex rear surface of cubic curve, for example, and coarse surface. An infrared signal passed through the light receiving part 3 is diffused from the rear surface 4 thereof and even the light deviated from the sensor 5 can arrives at the sensor 5. The coarse surface serves to direct the light which can not be condensed by the convex rear surface toward the sensor 5. |
