PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the safety by removing anxiety, that a passerby (an infant or the like) who enters the passage in the middle of closing of a flap door is injured in the case that the flapper door strikes against him or her, without reducing the number of the entering and leaving persons on operation of a gate device. SOLUTION: With respect to an entrance/exit gate device where a gate main body fixed along an entrance/exit passage is provided with a flap door 2b for passage control and the flap door is opened based on a passage permission signal, the flap door is horizontally turned in the passing direction from the close position and is opened by motor driving in every operation and is returned to the close position through the same movement route after passage of a passerby. A driving motor 5 of this flapper door 2b is provided with a speed controller 8 which individually sets and controls the opening/closing operation speeds of the door, and the opening operation speed and the closing operation speed of the flap door 2b are set to a high speed and a low speed respectively by the speed controller 8 when the gate device is operated. |
