Release of the belt lock is prevented by a blocking device(104) which mechanically blocks the operating elements(105). The belt lock(102) has a button acting as the operating element, and the blocking device prevents its operation. The blocking device can be overcome by an increased force when operating the button. The blocking device is installed in the belt lock in the form of a pivoting locking lever.
