An information carrier, such as a lottery ticket (1), provided with a distinguishing mark (4) by means of which it distinguishes itself from other similar information carriers. The information carrier is provided with a rebondable adhesive (2) so as to enable repeated detachable affixation of the information carrier to different objects. The mark (4) may be invisibly provided on the information carrier, in such a manner that the mark (4) can be made visible.
