Cutting means 7 are moved under a lid 2 covering a container 1, by locking and unlocking means 3, 5 in order to mark a sheet 6, which can be fitted under the lid, with a nick or scratch when the locking and unlocking means are moved from a position in which the container lid is locked to a position in which the container lid is unlocked. The cutting means are separated from the locking and unlocking means 3, 5 when the latter are moved from the unlocked position to the locked position. Every opening of the container, particularly during its transport, is thus indicated by the marking of the sheet which can be seen through a transparent panel 24 fixed on the lid. <IMAGE>
