PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily certainly prevent a generation of a spark discharge on a handle portion in a cap in which a body portion is threaded to a filler neck portion in a conductive tank body by forming the handle portion with a conductive member and abutting one portion of the handle portion to the filler neck portion. SOLUTION: A cap for a fuel tank is constituted by a body portion 11 and a handle portion 13, and the body portion 11 is threaded to a filler neck portion 17 integrally formed to a conductive tank body 15 made of a metal through a filler tube 16. At this time, the handle portion is formed by a conductive member and imbedded in a concave portion 31 formed on the body portion 11 through a ratchet mechanism 33. A projection 37 abutted to a tip end surface of the filler neck portion 17 is formed on an inner side of an outer periphery 35 extended to a tip end of the filler neck portion 11. Further, a static electricity charged to a human body is penetrated through the handle portion 13, the projection 37 and the filler neck portion 17 and thereafter, the static electricity is made earth from a mounting bracket to a car body side. |
