PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep a sterilizing function for a long period by constituting a germicidal lamp as an electrodeless tube. SOLUTION: A germicidal lamp 2 is constituted of an ultraviolet lamp 2A consisting of a bar-like electrodeless tube and an ozone lamp 2B such as a quarts ozone lamp. An elastic electrode 3 constituted from a electrically conductive material such as SUS 304, which has resistance against erosion, rusting, etc., and is formed to be elastically deformable like a compressive spring coil is fixed to both end parts of the lamp 2. The electrode 3 is electrically connected to a driving means 4 and the output terminal of a boosting transformer. The means 4 is connected to an external DC power source 6 through an electric cord 5. Thus, DC voltage from the source 6 is AC-converted by a DC-AC converter 7 to light the lamps 2A and 2B. Thus, power supply is reduced and the size and the weight of a device 1 are reduced. In addition, the life of the lamp 2 is prolonged. |
