PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a felt free from restriction on the aging and pot life of adhesive to be used in the production of the felt, producible by a stabilized and simplified production process and evaporating no organic compound component giving bad influence on the production, living environment and human body in the production and use of the felt and provide its production process. SOLUTION: The objective felt is produced by spraying an aqueous solution of an adhesive composed of at least three components comprising 1-10 wt.% of a polyethylene glycol having a molecular weight of 200-1,000, 2-10 wt.% of a water-soluble polymer compound having two or more carboxyl groups in one molecule and 15-45 wt.% of a polymer compound having a solubility parameter (δ, [cal<1/2> .cm<-3/2> ]) of 7.9-9.5 to a number of fibers or fiber scraps, accumulating the fibers, etc., in the form of a sheet and hot-pressing the sheet. |
