<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make full use of the soft feeling natural to titanium by integrally fixing a copper alloy-made member having a specified weight composition ratio of Pb, Sn, Ni, and Cu and a specified specific gravity to a titanium head body. SOLUTION: The weight composition of a plate copper alloy-made member 1 is set to 14.0-18.0% Pb, 6.0-10.0% Sn, 0.4-1.0% Ni, and the remainder of Cu, and the specific gravity is set to 9.0-9.5 A plate-like recessed part is formed on the back surface 3 of a titanium head body constituting the essential part of an iron club head, and the plate copper alloy-made member 1 has an outer form corresponding to the inside circumferential surface form of the plate-like recessed part of the back surface 3 of the head body. The copper alloy-made member 1 is fitted to the plate-like recessed part, and integrally fixed to the head body by adhesion or crushing plastic deformation. The weight ratio of the copper alloy-made member 1 to the whole head is set to 45.0-55.0%.</p> |
