<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording method which is capable of forming a high- image quality document with a simple printing process of a light input type and to apply this image recording method to a process for producing color filters of high resolution, excellent controllability and light transmission and low cost with a decreased number of production stages without using a photolithographic technique. SOLUTION: An electrodeposition liquid prepd. by dissolving or dispersing the image forming material contg. a ferrocene deriv. is prepd. in a vessel. A substrate which is obtd. by successively forming a transparent conductive film and a semiconductor thin film having a photovoltaic function on a transparent substrate and is capable of generating current or electric field by exposure meeting desired image patterns and a counter electrode are arranged in this vessel in such a manner that at least the image forming surface of the substrate is immersed into the electrodeposition liquid. The substrate and the counter electrode are then exposed according to the desired image patterns therebetween and current or electric field is impressed on the exposed portions, by which the image forming material contg. the ferrocene deriv. is electrochemically deposited on the image forming surface of the substrate, by which the electrodeposition film is formed. Images are thus formed.</p> |
