<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the dispersing efficiency of air and to promote the formation of byproduct gypsum, by arranging a rotary atomizer generating fine air bubbles to the liquid sump of a gas adsorbing tower. CONSTITUTION:A rotary atomizer 22 is constitute so that a cup shaped rotor 24 is rotated in a gas absorbing solution 23 being a suspension containing Ca(OH)2 and CaCO3 at a high speed and air 25 is continuously sent into the cup shaped rotor 24 to flood air from the lower end of the cup shaped rotor 24. The flooded gas is formed into a gaseous layer 26 on the surface of the rotor by the effect of centrifugal force and said gaseous layer 26 is torn off by the relative speed of the solution and the gaseous layer to be dispersed as fine air bubbles. By this method, the precipitated gypsum or the suspended substance is prevented from directly containing with the rotor and no trouble due to the adhesion thereof is generated. Because the dispersing efficiency of air is enhanced, gypsum forming time is shortened.</p> |
