<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermal recorder in which any one of color thermal recording sheet or a monochromatic thermal recording sheet can be selected. SOLUTION: A control means 1 controls thermal energy being applied to a thermal head 11 depending on a sheet to be recorded, i.e., a color thermal recording sheet having a laminate of a plurality of different coloring layers or a monochromatic thermal recording sheet, thus recording a color image on the color thermal recording sheet or a monochromatic image on the monochromatic thermal recording sheet.</p> |
