PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit efficient multicolor molding with the use of a general-purpose injection molding machine by a method in which intermediate moldings are fixed freely attachably/detachably to a supporting tool, the next injection molding part of the intermediate molding is fitted insertably/packably to one split mold of a mold and the supporting tool is fitted to a split mold, next, the other split mold is coupled, and injection molding is done. SOLUTION: A supporting tool 10 fitted with intermediate moldings 1 is gripped, the fitting hole 15 of the tool 10 is engaged/inserted with/into the fitting pin 23 of the split mold 21 of an open mold and fixed, at least the void 2 of the intermediate molding 1 fixed to the tool 10 is inserted/packed into the cavity of the movable side split mold 21. With the tool 10 fitted, the split mold 21 is coupled with a fixed split mold, and a resin for a desired member is injected into a cavity to be formed between the split molds. After injection molding, the mold is opened, when the tool 10 fitted to the movable side split mold 21 is protruded and removed by a pin, a secondary molding... a two-color molding, which is fixed to the tool, is obtained. In this way, lots of intermediate moldings are packed into the next molding mold while a general purpose injection molding machine is being used, and the yield of multicolor moldings and production efficiency can be improved. |
