PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing rice capable of being cooked without washing in which in the case of washing polished rice, saving of water resource and pollution control of rivers are contrived and both damage of the surface of polished rice and change into paste are made to the lower limit and moreover bleaching effect by water is enjoyed and drastic enhancement of taste is contrived. SOLUTION: Flexible belts 3 are formed into a belt conveyor and overlapped in two steps. Polished rice is polished on the contact face of the upper and lower wet flexible belts 3. Then, while holding the same structure, the flexible belts 3 are not wetted and polished rice is dried by the flexible belts 3 dried by a dryer. |
