PURPOSE:To enhance reliability of a zinc-bromine battery against leakage of electrolyte. CONSTITUTION:A separator plate 12 is provided on a positive-electrode-side end plate electrode 11 with a water-absorbing sheet 14 interposed therebetween and then they are sealed together to form a positive electrode room 15. A carbon plastic electrode 13 is provided on the separator plate 12 with a water- absorbing sheet 14 interposed therebetween and then the separator plate 12 and the carbon plastic electrode 13 are sealed together to form a negative electrode room 16. After the positive electrode room 15 and the negative electrode room 16 are formed in sequence, electrolyte is injected into both of the rooms to block manifolds 11d, 12d, 13d. Then the manifolds 11d, 12d, 13d are each tapped and resin bolts are threadably engaged therein. |
