PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric motor type gate door capable of preventing an electric system from aging caused by a gate door sliding, avoiding frequent replacement of parts, functioning during power failure, and preventing illegal operation by an outsider. SOLUTION: This gate door is provided with a gate door body opening and closing a gate by sliding on a rail, and a drive gear 11, an input device 12, a controller 13, a solar battery 14a, a storage battery 14b and an overcharge prevention device 14c placed on the gate door body. A correct code number is inputted in a second input unit 12b using the ten key thereof when the gate is to be opened or closed and, for example, if a button for opening or closing the door within two minutes is pressed, the controller 13 makes the gate door body slide towards the opening or closing direction by controlling the drive gear 11. When the door reaches the opening end or the closing end, a signal from approaching sensors 15a, 15b to the effect that the door has reached the opening end or the closing end is inputted in the controller 13 which stops the actuation of the drive gear 11. |
