<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a safety of a passenger in case of a multiple accident in which a second collision is caused after a first collision in an air bag device provided with an air bag joined to an opening portion of a box and an inflator blowing out gas into the air bag at the time required. SOLUTION: A plurality of gas supplying chambers 4, 5 having respective openings 6, 7 are formed by dividing an in side of a box 2 by a separating member 3. A plurality of gas generating chambers 11, 12 are provided on an inflator 10 and the respective gas generating chambers 11, 12 are disposed in the respective supplying chambers 4, 5. A first air bag 8 joined to the optional opening portion 6 and a second air bag 9 joined to all openings 6, 7 and accommodating the first air bag 8 therein are provided. Thus, the first air bag 8 is developed at the time of a first collision and the second air bag 9 is developed at the time of a second collision.</p> |
