<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for removing phosphorus in sewage by operating a chemical injection pump for adding a flocculant to flocculate soluble phosphorus in sewage to remove the soluble phosphorus in an org. sewage such as the sewage flowing into an aerobic treating tank in connection with the operation of an aerator to prevent the clogging of the chemical injection pump, etc., to effectively flocculate, settle and remove the insoluble phosphorus and to improve the durability of the chemical injection pump. SOLUTION: An aerator is automatically operated with the value measured by a dissolved oxygen(DO) sensor or oxidation-reduction potential sensor as a control factor, and a chemical injection pump for adding a flocculant to flocculate the soluble phosphorus in sewage is intermittently operated in accordance with the operating time of the aerator.</p> |
