PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Al alloy capable of assuring higher high temp. characteristics with high reproducibility. SOLUTION: In an Al alloy contg. 1.5 to 7.0% Cu and 0.01 to 2.0% Mg, the average size ofθ' phases is regulated to <=120 nm, and furthermore, the average distance among precipitates in theθ' phases in regulated to <=100 nm, and moreover, in an aluminum alloy contg. 0.05 to 0.7% Ag and havingΩphases, the average size of theΩphases is regulated to <=100 nm, and furthermore, the average distance among precipitates in theΩphases is regulated to <=150 nm.
