PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control system for a cluster of molding installations by which it is possible to repair one peripheral installation which is faulty without stopping other peripheral installations, even when the faulty peripheral installation fails, and prevent the other peripheral installations from being adversely affected, even when an abnormality alarm sounds. SOLUTION: This control system for a cluster of molding installations controls a cluster of molding installations consisting of a pluralirty of molding lines 1a...1n, each (1a) of the molding lines being composed of a single injection molding machine 10a and at least one unit or more units of peripheral installation 12a, 14a, 16a, 18a. In addition, the molding machine 10a and the peripheral installations 12a, 14a, 16a, 18a are independently equipped with controllers 11a, 13a, 15a, 17a, 19a respectively. Each of the controllers 11a, 13a, 15a, 17a, 19a is connected to a control computer 5a provided on each of the molding lines 1a...1n through a communication line, and each of the control computers 5a is connected to a host computer 2 which controls the cluster of the molding installations and an alarm host computer 4 which monitors and outputs an alarm. |
