摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent that image density becomes non-uniform by expanding the toner taking area of a toner carrier and to also prevent the scattering of toner at the time of hitting of the toner against paper even if a capsule including a sticky member is not used. SOLUTION: A corotron 41 is arranged between a control electrode 30 and an opposed electrode 29 on the upstream side of a toner flight region in a paper feed direction. The corotron 41 is a corona discharge device and discharges electricity by applying AC voltage across two tungsten wires in a shield case to ionize molecules in air into positive and negative ions. Negative ions are bonded to the positively charged charge member among charge members such as toner T, the control electrode 30, paper P, the opposed electrode 29 or the like while positive ions are bonded to the negatively charged member and charges are neutralized to destaticize the charge members inclusive of the toner T.
