摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the detection precision of an acceleration sensor while suppressing an increase in the weight of a car body side harness by integrally storing an acceleration detecting means detecting the vertical acceleration of a wheel in a case. SOLUTION: An acceleration sensor 11 detecting the vertical acceleration applied to a case 1 via a piston rod and a control rod as the vertical acceleration of a wheel is fitted to a sensor substrate 5. The acceleration sensor 11 can be integrally stored in addition to a position detecting sensor 7 in the case 1 of a step motor 6 changing the damping force of a shock absorber. Two wires of a car body side harness are reduced for each shock absorber as compared with the conventional case that the acceleration sensor 11 is fitted to the car body side, the weight of the car body side harness can be reduced, and the detection precision of the vertical acceleration of the wheel can be sharply improved by excluding the effect of the bush of the shock absorber.
