PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase fungicidal ability and action and to prevent the development of fungi over a long period of time by mixing alkali metals, alkaline earth metals, nonmetallic minerals and rare minerals with a cement other than silica cement. SOLUTION: A fungicidal material is formed out of alkali metals, alkaline earth metals, nonmetallic minerals and rare minerals. About 3-20% of the fungicidal material is mixed with a cement other than silica cement, white cement and sand in accordance with a place for application such as a place at which fungi are liable to develop or a damp place. The development of designated four strains, general fungi and spares is prevented. The effect of the fungicidal material is early exhibited by the power of ions of the rare minerals. The fungicidal material may be a combination of a zeolite, a baron mineral, clay, kaolin, bentonite, acid clay, apatite, aluminum sulfate, zinc, calcium, barium sulfate, strontium carbonate, zirconium, sodium, lanthanum oxide, cerium oxide and neodymium oxide. |
