PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the manual operation of a foot pedal by providing a bar-like operating rod, a fitting part provided in one end of the operating rod and capable of being fitted to an arm part of the foot pedal. SOLUTION: In the case of manually operating a brake pedal with an installed operating tool, an occupant sitting on the front passenger seat holds a grip part of a tip of an operating rod 2. When the operating rod 2 is pushed into the brake pedal direction, the pushing force is transmitted to an arm part through a fitting part 3, namely, a joint part 5 and a fixed part 6, and the arm part is moved in the operating direction of a tread. With this structure, a braking mechanism is operated so as to apply the braking force to a vehicle. Since flexibility is given to the joint part 5, the pushing force applied to the operating rod 2 is accurately transmitted to the fixed part 6, and the arm part can be securely moved in the operating direction of the tread. |
