PURPOSE:To enable accurate sampling of a correct flaw detection video even by a manual scanning by displaying a measuring data corresponding to a received signal obtained as each measuring cycle is repeated from the start of a measurement at a position assigned corresponding to the frequency of the repetition of the measuring cycle. CONSTITUTION:A measuring data display position on a screen of an LCD 10 is assigned according to measuring points in correspondense to a direction of scanning with a probe 13 so that a cursor is displayed at the current measur ing data display position or therebehind. Hence, the cursor can be moved corre sponding to the movement of the current measuring data display position selected sequentially according to a measuring cycle. Moreover, as the measuring cycle can be set from a key input circuit 4, a moving speed of the cursor can be selected. With a scanning observing this moving cursor, the probe 13 can be moved to match the moving speed of the cursor so that an object to be inspected can be scanned. When there is a difference between a manual scanning and the moving speed of the cursor on the side of a measuring device 20, the measuring cycle is altered thereby enabling the matching of the moving speed on the part of the cursor with that on the part of the manual scanning. |
