PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain light-diffusing agent particles and a light-diffusive sheet incorporated therewith, having excellent light diffusivity and light transmissivity compatibilized with each other. SOLUTION: The light-diffusing agent particles consist of particles comprising a copolymer made from 5-95 wt.% of a monomer of the formula (R<1> and R<2> are each H or a lower alkyl) and 95-5 wt.% of another monomer copolymerizable therewith, and has an average size of 1-80μm and a refractive index of 1.60-1.67.
