PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject cosmetic having excellent hair-restoring effect, depilation-preventing effect and dandruff and itching-preventing effect and excellent in safety by including glycyrrhetinic acids, glycyrrhizic acids and Cuachalalate extract. SOLUTION: This cosmetic comprises (A) glycyrrhetinic acid (β-glycyrrhetinic acid) (aglycon of glycyrrhetinic acid extracted from Glycyrrhiza glabra L.var.) (e.g. glycyrrhetinic acid glycerol) and/or glycyrrhizic acids (glycoside extracted from Glycyrrhiza glabra L.var. and comprising 1 mol glycyrrhetinic acid and 2 mol glucuronic acid) and (B) Cuachalalate extract. In the above cosmetic, the component A is preferably contained in an amount of 0.001-5.0 wt.% and the component B is preferably contained in an amount of 0.0001-20.0 wt.%.
