PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a conductor incorporated in a sensor in a rotational speed detecting device from being disconnected, and to provide a roller bearing which is small-sized and lightweight and which can be simply assembled. SOLUTION: A knurled pattern 41 is formed in the outer peripheral surface of an outer race 20 by knurling the outer peripheral surface of the outer race 20. During assembly, the outer race 20 is press-fitted in a housing 18 which is not rotated even during using, and accordingly, several ridges defining the knurled pattern 41 are wedged into the inner peripheral surface of the housing 18. Accordingly, the outer peripheral surface of the outer race 20 is mechanically meshed with the inner peripheral surface of the housing 18, thereby it is possible to prevent the outer race 20 supporting a sensor from rotating within the housing 18. |
