PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a water ink jet recording paper absorbing ink quickly, having a superior antiblotting property and water resistance, and capable of giving high glossy images. SOLUTION: The ink jet recording paper is to form recorded images with use of water ink, and the recording paper is made such that a thermoplastic resin film having a surface glossiness (JIS Z-8741; a measurement of 60 degrees) of 70% or more is employed as a support, and an ink receptor layer is provided on the surface layer of a glossiness of 70%, which contains aluminum alkoxide, a binder, and absorptive resin of a surface glossiness (JIS Z-9841; 60 degrees) of 70% or more. |
