PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify work after a clogged medium is removed and to prevent damage of a lower unit. SOLUTION: A printer has a medium cassette arranged so as to be freely drawn out with respect to a printer main body 41, the upper unit fixed to the printer main body 41, the lower unit 44 arranged to the printer main body 41 in a freely shakable manner and forming a medium feed path along with the upper unit 43 at a first position and opening the feed path at a second position and the connection member arranged to the printer main body 41 in a freely shakable manner and connected to the lower unit 44 to move the lower unit 44 from the second position to the first position by the operation for pushing the medium cassette into the housing part P4 within the printer main body 41. When the medium cassette is pushed into the housing part P4, the lower unit 44 is moved from the second position to the first position by the connection member. |
